The shaped top centered by fine chiseled cartouche ormolu mount above the wave shaped fall front centered with a fine cast foliate escutcheon and applied with an inset gilt-tooled leather writing surface, opening to a fitted interior with a compartment above a scalloped frieze with three small drawers,

The bureau has a scalloped shaped apron with a wide drawer veneer inlaid in sans traverse style, ornate with veneer filet, and foliate ormolu handles,

Raised on four cabriole legs headed by gilt-ormolu foliate acanthus chutes and terminating in foliate ormolu sabots.

The fine piece is available in different styles with different fitted interior as displayed.
