A sophisticated French Louis Quinze style patinated ormolu-mounts and sans-traverse double cut veneer inlaid grand Vitrine Pedestal;
The surmounting inset marble top rests within a concave shaped frieze ornamented on each corner with an ormolu acanthus leaf, all above the display tier of two glass panes inside and four scalloped shape glazed panels adorned on top center of each of them with a finely chiseled foliate ormolu Cartouche and delicate ormolu frame, the central door has an ormolu pierced foliate keyhole escutcheon, the four corner supports are double veneer inlaid within a delicate filet and ornamented on top with stunning ormolu long chutes representing suspending ribbon-tied pierced foliate ovoid Cartouche;
The lower supporting table has a fine double scalloped shaped reserve sans-traverse veneer inlaid and centered on each side with an ormolu mount of a Cartouche issuing foliate branches; each leg corner is embellished with a fine long scrolling acanthus leaf ormolu chutes connecting the upper and lower tiers;
The fine piece is raised on four robust splayed cabriole legs, sans-traverse veneer inlaid, ormolu mounted with pierced scrolling foliate ormolu sabots and connected with an exquisite double veneer inlaid concave sides X-Stretcher ornamented with a doubled smooth and burnished ormolu band surmounted with a pierced gallery to each side.
