French Louis XV style ormolu-mounted sans traverse veneer inlaid marble topped Vase Stand inspired of Johann Martin Levien Jewel cabinet style form circa.1846 of the Royal Collection;
The inset marble top above a square body sans traverse double veneer inlaid and ormolu mounted with a central medallion representing birds drinking from a fountain within a circular ormolu beaded trim surrounded with four ormolu mounts corners, square ormolu trim and pair of festooned ribbon tied foliate pendants;
All above scalloped shape apron ornamented with ormolu acanthus scrolling foliage mount and ormolu bands; each corner is adorned with large pierced ormolu acanthus chute and ormolu bands to the contour; the four curved and splayed supports are connected with an ormolu-mounted veneer inlaid bottom tier stretcher and four ormolu acanthus sabots.
