A very handsome and artistic French Louis XV style ormolu-mounted mounted sans traverse double quarter veneer and floral marquetry inlaid bombé and curved shape Pedestal Stand;

Headed with a square inset marble top in a protruding concave shaped frieze adorned on the four corners with an ormolu leaf; the bombe shaped wavy body ornamented on the top four corners with marvelously chiseled long acanthus leaves chutes and professionally hand inlaid in sans-traverse quarter double veneer inlays with upper and lower floral marquetry patterns of flower bouquets within double scrolling filet encadrements and centered on each side with most magnificent and detailed marquetry inlays of musical instruments and musical note amidst flower bouquet;

The delicate pedestal is raised on short bold cabriole legs ornamented with ormolu scrolling acanthus leaves sabots.
