A spectacular and monumental French mid 19th Century Louis XVI style ormolu-mounted and double veneer inlaid marble topped Grand Majestic Vase Pedestal Column;

The inset marble top within a leveled frieze adorned with leafy ormolu corner mounts extended to concave form decorated with ormolu encadrement and flanked to each corner with superbly chiseled foliate ormolu chutes elongated along the square tapered body with fine ormolu Reel band; each side of the fine pedestal is topped with an acanthus form Cabuchon issuing scrolling foliate branches above a shaped beaded ormolu encadrement cornered on the four angles with circular ormolu rosette, the center has a striking pierced ormolu mount of a suspending ribbon tied quiver and darts within foliate movements;

The body lower convex shaped extension above the plinth is doubled veneer inlaid and decorated with beaded ormolu encadrements on the four sides and cornered with marvelous foliate ormolu chutes mounts; the square shaped plinth is beautifully surmounted on upper edges with Ovolo-with-Egg-and-Dart ormolu band centered with fine chiseled Cabuchon of shell and scrolling acanthus foliage and raised on finely chased ormolu leafy paw feet with acanthus leaf mount;

The fine pedestal is produced per request in another version with a central ormolu-mounted porcelain Sèvres plate with romantic court scenes as displayed.
