A fine French Napoleon III Louis XVI Revival style ormolu-mounted parquetry inlaid Showcase Cabinet;
The demilune shaped eared marble top above a conforming frieze with engraved ormolu band, central large drawer, two circular blocks with ormolu rosettes and side faux drawers, all are parquetry inlaid with Palmettes and an intertwined ormolu strap below,
The curved central part with central cupboard door with ormolu keyhole escutcheon, central Anthemion parquetry style pattern within an ormolu frame, cornered with four large triangular ormolu rosettes and twisted ormolu frame; flanked by two semicircular blocks adorned with fabulous ormolu chutes mounts to the top and bottom; with two curved side glazed doors ornamented with foliate reeded ormolu frame ormolu keyhole escutcheons and ormolu frame to the contour. The semicircular blocks with ormolu chutes are repeated to the far ends of each side,
The scalloped shaped frieze below is three sectioned, veneer inlaid with filet, ormolu banded, with four ¾ circular blocks with oval shaped rosettes and central large foliate leafy ormolu mounts, raised on four toupie reeded twisted shaped feet with detailed ormolu sabots and a finely chiseled Egg-and-Dart ormolu top caps.
