Our elaborate prestigious reproduction of the Spanish ormolu-mounted veneer, marquetry inlaid and ebonized Rocaille Royal Bedroom set after the bedroom model of Queen Isabella II of Spain circa 1830 - 1904, the extraordinary bedroom set is made of solid walnut wood and lavishly ormolu embellished with rocaille encadrements, scallops, scrolling acanthus, ormolu flower bouquets, ormolu festoons, ormolu swaging garlands and stunning extensive marquetry patterns; the set is ebonized in harmony and hand painted with foliate designs and comprising of one bed, one armoire, one vanity with mirror, one chair, one curtain cornice and two bedside tables. The original Bedroom is exhibited in the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, Madrid in the town of Aranjuez, the bedroom was the wedding gift the queen received from the city of Barcelona and was used firstly by King Charles IV during the 18th century as his private office but later in the 19th century, it became a bedroom. The bedroom was made by Juan Bautista de Toledo the famous Spanish architect.
